From the warm welcome note accompanied by a bottle of wine to the beautifully made beds, every detail was carefully considered. the spacious rooms provided plenty of space to relax and unwind, while the stunning location in Southwell added to the overall charm of the experience. One of the highlights of my stay was exploring the local attractions, such as the world-class Cathedral and the historic Newstead Abbey, both within easy reach of the hotel. the ability to immerse myself in the unique atmosphere of the town made me feel like a local, even if only for a short time. In terms of amenities, the hotel offered everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from the well-equipped kitchen to the free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. the cozy garden area was a lovely spot to relax with a cup of tea, adding an extra touch of luxury to my weekend getaway. Overall, Marlene provided a perfect balance of comfort and value, making it a top choice for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Southwell.
